Item Writing Project

We have modified Pro!’s Item Writing project user interface to accommodate new options and better utilize screen real estate. In a continued effort to streamline the item development workflow, users can easily add items written within a project to a new or existing poolbook, which can then be used within an item review project (and a host of other uses).

Project wide-mentor

Testing programs have the option of specifying one or more mentors for an item writing project. One of the mentors can be a specialist or project-wide mentor, which is the final gate before item submission. This additional verification step helps ensure a high level of item quality early in the item’s lifecycle. The project can be configured to enforce that Item writing mentors will send all items to the Project Mentor. The Project Mentor can decide to submit the item, send it to the original mentor, or to the original item writer for additional edits.

Superuser

Testing programs have the option of designating an Item Writing participant as a Superuser. The Superuser has visibility and access to all in-progress items, allowing the Superuser to step in and complete, review, and submit items as needed to “rescue” content and keep projects on schedule.

Data Offload

We have removed several obsolete offloads.

Project Email Template

When creating project email templates, the list of available content sections will be limited to those associated with the current user.

Poolbook Export

Select one or more items from the poolbook and export their content to XML.  In addition to content, assigned classifications, references, and rationales are exported.

Superuser

Item Review Projects

In addition to being saved in the item’s Activity and Event Log, the secondary reviewer’s comment will be saved to the item’s comments, allowing for easy viewing.
