Nancy Ur has been promoted to Director of HR and Finance for Strasz Assessment Systems. Since 2008, Nancy has managed the increasing scope of HR management and Financial Reporting including Health Care, Invoicing, Payroll, Annual Audits, and more while we’ve tripled in size. The staff at Strasz knows whether it’s health care questions, building management issues, personal issues, immigration management, forecasting, or invoicing, Nancy has us covered. John O’Brien has been promoted to Director of Information Technology for Strasz Assessment Systems. John has been a significant contributor to the success of the IT department since joining Strasz in January of 2019. John’s depth of knowledge and attention to detail was critical in the recent seamless move of the company’s use of physical PC hardware to a hosted virtual environment. He has time and time again stepped up in a leadership capacity to provide thoughtful insight and guidance to team members both in and out of IT. His initiative and commitment to success have not gone unnoticed. A well-earned congratulations to John on this promotion!

Ken White has earned a promotion to Director of Project Delivery for Strasz Assessment Systems. Ken joined Strasz in 2016 to bolster our project delivery capabilities, including oversight of infrastructure services. Ken’s leadership has been critical to the successful expansion of our Agile development capabilities and the assumption of IT and environment support for AICPA applications. Ken has successfully expanded his sphere of influence across teams and projects, earning us many victories for our clients. Ken provides tireless, focused leadership and a long history of successful project delivery. Congratulations on a well-deserved promotion Ken!

Olga Donskoy has earned a promotion to Vice President of Project Delivery for Strasz Assessment Systems. Olga joined Strasz in 2013 as an essential part of Strasz’s evolution to Agile. Olga’s knowledge and guidance were critical to the success of the Agile conversion as Strasz and AICPA Exams partnered to transform all projects and teams. Olga subsequently helped lead Strasz through a series of victories, including the launch of the CPA Exam Driver.  More recently, Olga has provided leadership in establishing the structure and processes for the AICPA’s Dynamic Audit Solution project. Over the last eight years, Olga has provided outstanding leadership, insightful guidance, and uncommon commitment time and time again. Congratulations Olga!!

In 2020 ASPE moved their examinations for the Certified in Plumbing Design and the Certified Plumbing Design Technician to the Strasz Online Proctoring Service in response to global COVID-19 lockdowns. This spring they delivered the CPD examination in the online remote format again and will expand the number of administrations of the CPD exam as well as the CPDT exam.

The IDDBA has chosen to use Essentials! for item development and test publication of the Certified Charcuterie Professional examination. In May they will deliver the inaugural examination for the certification via the Strasz Online Proctoring Service. There are certificates and possible new certifications to come from IDDBA in future.

The Institute of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals is offering candidates the choice to take their exams remotely through Strasz Online Proctoring or through the Strasz Consolidator Service in Pearson VUE centers. The addition of remote testing gives more flexibility for the CCIFP examination.

In December, Strasz Assessment Systems provided online live proctoring for the administration of the NJDEP Site Remediation Professional Licensing Exam. The remote administration was part of the NJDEP’s COVID-19 response and was well received by the candidates.

With a focus on test delivery that provides sharp images for Neurosonology and Neurovascular Specialists, the American Society of Neuroimaging chose to leverage Strasz’ test delivery in tandem with our online proctoring service. Their first administration in September 2020 featured two 3-part certification exams delivered in varying combinations to their candidates. We look forward to regular administrations in the US and with their global partners.

The Association of Certified Sanctions Specialists added online proctored exams this summer to allow their candidates the freedom to test during lockdowns in the US and in Europe. 

Update: After September candidates have had the choice to test remotely or through the Strasz Consolidator Service in a Pearson VUE center, with roughly double the candidates choosing to test remotely. In both cases, candidates receive a seamless test experience.
