On Wednesday, November 19, at 2:30, Strasz’s Vice President of Business Development, Rory McCorkle, will present “From Pilot to Practice: Implementing AI for Test Form Assembly,” with co-presenters Anna C. Rubin, ICE-CCP, Sr. Manager of Professional Certification Programs, Cisco, and Susan Davis-Becker, PhD, Founding Partner, ACS Ventures, United States. This informative session will highlight the importance of vendor–organization partnerships in validating AI-driven assessment tools, best practices for pilot studies, and the challenges of implementing AI in test development.

Rory was also one of four speakers chosen to give a short presentation as part of the conference’s IGNITE session at the I.C.E. Awards Ceremony on Wednesday. His talk will focus on his career journey in the credentialing field.

Starting in July of 2023,  the Macro Specialist Designation Exam will be delivered via Strasz Consolidator Services in Pearson VUE centers. The Macro Specialist Designation, or M2SD, is a study program designed to help financial professionals understand how macro trends impact equity markets and how to implement macro techniques in their investment analysis successfully. The M2SD is a new certification, and the Strasz Consolidator Program is a perfect fit for new and growing certification programs. Strasz will use Pro!, our item bank and test development system, to house and publish the M2SD exam.

In September 2022, the African Society of Laboratory Medicine (ASLM) added human and animal microbiology examinations to their original offerings. Strasz Test! successfully administered exams in 15 African countries, in addition to Cambodia and Bangladesh. Tests were presented in English or in French based upon the candidate’s preference. Horticulturists have begun taking the Virginia Certified Horticulturist examination via their choice of remote online proctoring or in any center in the Pearson VUE network. The Virginia Nursery and Landscaping Association and Strasz Assessment Systems worked together to give candidates the opportunity to take the updated VCH exam in any place where they have a quiet environment and an internet connection, or in any center that is convenient for them.

This February, Strasz Assessment Systems successfully delivered microbiology and epidemiology exams for the African Society for Laboratory Medicine. Our team supported 26 separate events across 12 African countries and 2 Southeast Asian countries. Exams, delivered in English and French, began at 9 AM local time for most candidates, with our US-based support team monitoring the sessions until the wee hours of the morning.

On January 27th, 2022, Neel Shah, our Vice President of Software Development, will be discussing our SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) implementation in a webinar with NServiceBus.

In September 2021 Strasz Online Proctoring delivered the SISIAC Echocardiography of Adults Exam (el Examen de Ecocardiografía de Adultos). Candidates throughout North, Central and South America and Spain were paired with bilingual proctors to make this event a success.

IDCAP has signed with Strasz to deliver the IDCAP Certified Crypto Asset Professional examination series through the Strasz Consolidator Service beginning December of 2021. IDCAP candidates will be assessed at three different skill levels. Levels 2 and 3 will be initiated in June and December of 2022.
