Item Authoring User Experience Redesign
We’ve redesigned the item authoring experience in Pro! to make your workflow smoother, faster, and more intuitive. The updated interface for Single Selection, Likert, and Passage items now features a dropdown-based layout that replaces the old tabs, giving you a more streamlined and consistent experience. You’ll notice smarter saving too—classifications and references update automatically, while user-defined fields (UDFs) save with a click when you’re ready. We’ve also improved persistence performance by separating how content and metadata are saved. To top it off, Clone and Move actions are now easier to find in the View dropdown—they are the same great tools, but in a more convenient spot.
Close In-Progress Item Review Projects
We’ve made it easier for you to manage your timelines by giving project managers the flexibility to close review projects even if some items are still in active review. No more waiting for every round to wrap up—now you can move forward when it makes sense for your team. If any items are still in progress, you’ll get a clear warning with a list of those items, and everything is logged for transparency. You’ll always have a chance to cancel before finalizing the closure. It’s all about giving you more control.
Item Submission Rollback
Super Users now have the power to roll back item writing submissions for both discrete items and passage sets, giving your team more flexibility during remote item writing. They can return the item to the original author for further edits without losing any back-office updates that might have been made. Once resubmitted, the item is versioned and placed back into the Submitted queue, keeping everything organized. Of course, all rollback and resubmission activity is fully logged for complete transparency.
Pro! is your partner for the item and examination development process. With a constant flow of new innovative features and a focus on efficiency, precision, and flexibility, there’s never been a better time to upgrade. Empower your team today!
